Resumen de Mineral Potential mapping using Remote Sensing and GIS technologies - A case study of Tamdytau Mountains (Central Uzbekistan)

  En la actualidad, numerosos estudios de identificación y diferenciación de yacimientos minerales utilizando tecnologías GIS y teledetección se están llevando a cabo en todo el mundo. El principal objetivo de este trabajo es la elaboración de un mapa de potenciales yacimientos de oro en las montañas Tamdytau (parte central de Uzbekistán) usando dichas técnicas. En el mapa geológico se muestran las aureolas geoquímicas de oro, arsénico, cobre, plomo y tungsteno. Todos los datos se han vectorizado para el cálculo de la tasa de frecuencia. Finalmente, se ha realizado una estimación de la validez y verificación de superposición de áreas de las aureolas consideradas.

  In the present time, many studies on identification and defining mineral deposits are being carried out in the world using Remote Sensing and GIS technologies. The main objective of this work is the creation of a mineral potential map on gold in the Tamdytau Mountains (central part of the Uzbekistan Republic) using frequency ratio and GIS technologies. In the work geological map, geochemical aureoles of gold, arsenic, copper, lead, and tungsten are used. All data were converted to vector and after to grid format with own values for calculating frequency ratio. Finally, the assessment of validity, verification of overlaying calculating areas with early defined advanced aureoles have been carry out and have been show good result.
