    El presente artículo ofrece una revisión de la documentación elaborada por el Consejo de Colegios de Abogados Europeos (Council of the Bars & Law Societies of Europe, CCBE), en relación con el progreso tecnológico y su impacto en el Derecho Europeo y en la práctica de la abogacía en el continente. Con esta finalidad se recopilan y estructuran los principales textos, proyectos y reflexiones del CCBE para presentar una guía para los profesionales sobre el nuevo y desafiante tema de las tecnologías y la digitalización en la E-Justicia europea y en el Derecho de las tecnologías de la información. Dado que su objetivo principal es constituir un recurso práctico y una visión histórica para los profesionales y los investigadores interesados en esta materia, esta compilación se centrará en los últimos años.

    The present paper aims at establishing a literature review on published materials about the work of the European legal profession in relation to technological progress and its impact in European Law and in the lawyer’s practice across the continent. The focus of this review is to structure, digest, and present the main texts, projects and thinking of the Council of the Bars & Law Societies of Europe (CCBE). Thus, the main objective consists of offering an accessible guide to practitioners in this new and challenging topic of technologies and digitalization in European E-Justice and IT Law. In order to keep the interest and relevance of the article, this compilation will focus in recent years. Thus it is mainly intended to constitute a practical resource and a historical overview for professionals in order to keep them up to date with the activity of their representative institution at EU level, while also providing resources for interested researchers.
