La estética ha resucitado. Después de declararla muerta, o porque se la asociaba con una disciplina impositiva y prescriptiva del arte, o porque no rebasaba las discusiones conceptuales, la estética renace. La estética es el saber de la propia sensibilidad, la teoría de la belleza y la filosofía del arte. No prescribe ni describe, sino que se apropia comprendiendo desde el contexto sus objetos materiales. Igualmente se involucra, incluso se funda, en la epistemología y la ontología, así como se relaciona, porque las implica, con la ética y la política. Para este ensayo se tiene como propósito comentar la estética analógica de Mauricio Beuchot. Se entiende que comentar es mantenerse en (cum) la mente del autor (mentis), esto es, exponer el contenido de un texto para facilitar su comprensión. Con esto se acepta que una estética analógica es una que, fundada y fundamentada en la hermenéutica analógica, evita los extremos univocista y equivocista, y recupera los criterios para las artes, pero aprendiendo las lecciones de la Modernidad y la Posmodernidad y así volver a posicionarse como un quehacer filosófico pertinente.

The aesthetic has risen. After declaring her dead, or because she was associated with a tax and prescriptive discipline of art, or because she did not exceed conceptual discussions, aesthetics is reborn. Aesthetics is the knowledge of one's sensibility, the theory of beauty and the philosophy of art. It does not prescribe or describe, but appropriates, understanding from the context its material objects. It also gets involved, even founded, in epistemology and ontology, as well as related, because it implies them, with ethics and politics. The purpose of this essay is to comment on the analog aesthetic of Mauricio Beuchot. It is understood that commenting is to stay in (cum) the author's mind (mentis), that is, to expose the content of a text to facilitate its understanding. With this it is accepted that an analogical aesthetic is one that, founded and grounded in analogical hermeneutics, avoids the univocist and mistaken extremes, and recovers the criteria for the arts, but learning the lessons of Modernity and Postmodernity and thus reposition as a relevant philosophical task.
