La Décima popular: lenguaje común de tradiciones Hispanoamericanas en el festival de Xichú

    A partir de la experiencia de la Fiesta del huapango arribeño y de la cultura de la Sierra Gorda, el texto analiza la importancia de la décima y de la glosa en décimas en esta tradición. Además, destaca el XXX aniversario donde se invitaron a trovadores de otras partes del mundo para celebrar la décima y la tradición del canto en décimas. Esto permitió observar otras formas tradicionales de canto de la décima en otras regiones de Hispanoamérica, valorar cómo se parecen al huapango arribeño y cómo cada una tiene su especificidad. Finalmente, esto muestra el diálogo y la pervivencia que tiene la décima popular en Hispanoamérica y cómo sigue vigente en cada una de las regiones donde tiene presencia.

    Based on the experience of the Festival del huapango arribeño y de la cultura de la SierraGorda, the text analyzes the importance of the ten-line stanza and the glose in ten-linestanza in this tradition. In addition, it highlights the XXX anniversary where troubadoursfrom other parts of the world were invited to the festival. This allowed observing othertraditional forms of singing the ten-line stanza in other regions of Latin America, the valuethat they give to it, how other popular traditions are resembling to the huapango arribeñoand how each one has its specificity. Finally, this shows the dialogue and survival that thepopular ten-line stanza has in Latin America and how it continues in force in each of theregions where it has a presence.
