Resumen de Reflexões sobre a escrita biográfica a partir de uma experiência pessoal

O presente artigo pretende oferecer uma contribuição para o dossiê, apresentando reflexões sobre as narrativas biográficas, que, nas últimas décadas, recuperaram um lugar de prestígio na produção historiográfica. Partindo de uma experiência acadêmica pessoal, de pesquisas sobre Isabel I de Castela (1474-1504), construímos reflexões sobre o retorno da biografia. Primeiro, abordamos a relação biográfica na perspectiva da questão de identidade e alteridade. Em seguida, destacamos a questão do indivíduo e da pessoa na Idade Média. Por fim, tratamos da reconstrução das biografias das mulheres medievais, em especial da rainha Isabel.

This article intends to offer a contribution to the dossier, presenting thoughts on the biographical narratives, which in recent decades have regained a prestigious place in historiographic production. Starting from a personal academic experience, on researches about Isabella I of Castile (1474-1504), we built thoughts over the return of biography. First, we approach the biographical relationship from the perspective of the issue of identity and otherness. Then, we highlight the issue of the individual and the person in the Middle Ages. Finally, we deal with the reconstruction of the biographies of medieval women, especially Isabella of Castile.
