The Añavieja pool (located in Northern Soria Province, Spain) is a well and (actually drainig) feeded by a mesozoic karstic aquifer; the resources of this aquifer are 8,2 hm3/year. The size of the pool is smaller than 1 km in width and a length of 8 km. In this work the groundwater mouvement and the implications in origin of this pool (travertine river barriers) are studied.
