    Este ensayo se propone realizar un análisis teórico a la educación holística, sus postulados referidos a integrar el aspecto emocional y espiritual, y la construcción de conocimientos. En respaldo a este marco, se presentan algunas iniciativas propuestas por algunos autores en la incorporación de la visión holística experimentados en la educación. Producto de esta investigación, se estima identificar a la educación holística como un modelo de enseñanza transformadora que estimula en los educandos una mayor conciencia individual, haciéndoles partícipes dentro de sus comunidades, ello como resultado de un enfoque al aspecto emocional y cognoscitivo en los estudiantes.

    This essay proposes an analysis of holistic education, its postulates referring to integrating the emotional and spiritual aspects and building knowledge in students' education. In support of this framework, some significant initiatives proposed by remarkable authors are presented. As a result of this research, it is expected to identify holistic education as a model of sustainable, transformative, and creative teaching that generates in the learners a greater individual awareness of the problems of society, making them part of their essential role within their communities, this as a result of an approach to the emotional and cognitive aspect of students .
