Resumen de Análisis de los riesgos derivados de concentraciones de metales pesados en el río Ebro (cuenca catalana) mediante SIG (sistemas de información geográfica)

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la concentración de metales pesados y determinar y representar el riesgo ecológico de la cuenca catalana del río Ebro. La zona de estudio abarca desde el pantano de Riba-roja d’Ebre, a unos 75 m de altitud, hasta la desembocadura del mismo río en el mar mediterráneo, a nivel de 0 m de altitud, con un recorrido de más de 360 km. Los diferentes metales pesados analizados a partir de los 20 puntos de muestreo ubicados a lo largo del sector catalán del río han sido As, Cd, Cu, Cr, Hg, Ni, Pb, Sb y Zn, considerados de mayor interés por su toxicidad según la Directiva 98/83/CE relativa a la calidad de las aguas destinadas al consumo humano. Estos puntos de muestreo han sido distribuidos de manera homogénea y siguiendo el curso del río, cada 2,5 km. aproximadamente, para así tener una muestra lo suficientemente representativa de todos los tramos del área de estudio. El software utilizado para la representación ha sido MiraMón® v.5.1 y ArcView 8.2 del entorno ArcGis de ESRI.

The objective of this study is to analyze the heavy metal concentration and to determine and to represent the ecological risk of the Catalan river basin of the Ebro river. The zone of study includes from the Riba-roja d'Ebre, to about 75 ms of altitude, to the mouth of the same river in the Mediterranean Sea, at level of 0 m of altitude, with a route of more than 360 km. The different analyzed heavy metals from the 20 points from located sampling throughout the Catalan sector of the river have been Ace, CD, Cu, Cr, Hg, Nor, Pb, Sb and Zn, considered of greater interest by their toxicity according to Director 98/83/CE relative to the quality of waters destined to the human consumption. These points of sampling have been distributed of homogenous way and following course of the river, each 2.5 km approximately, thus to have a sample the sufficiently representative thing of all the sections of the study area. The software used for the representation has been MiraMón® v.5.1 and ArcView 8,2 of ESRI the ArcGis surroundings.
