    El Proyecto de Ley de Convivencia Universitaria no solo sustituye el régimen disciplinario de los estudiantes universitarios por un modelo basado en la utilización preferente de medios alternativos de solución de conflictos, sino que reconfigura la lógica del sistema de garantías de derechos y libertades en la universidad. Complementa la idea de la defensa de derechos, que tiene al Defensor Universitario como figura central, con la del acuerdo transado, que tendrá a la Comisión de Convivencia en el centro. La institución del Defensor Universitario puede perder su condición de garantía «de cierre» del sistema.

    The Bill of University Coexistence not only replaces the disciplinary regimen of university students with a model based on the preferencial utilization of alternative means for solving conflicts, but it also reconfigures the logic of the system of guarantees of rights in the university. It complements the idea of defending the rights in which the university ombudsman is the central figure with the idea of the agreed agreement that will have the coexistence committee as the central figure. The institution of the university ombudsman is at risk of losing its consideration of guarantee that closes the university system.
