Avaliação da oferta turística do município de Ilhéus (Bahia) sob a perspectiva dos residentes

    O presente artigo analisa a oferta turística do município de Ilhéus, no sul da Bahia, com foco na percepção dos residentes. Especificamente, analisa a avaliação dos residentes quanto aos atrativos, equipamentos, serviços e infraestrutura de apoio turístico e, identifica os fatores mais representativos da oferta turística. A pesquisa utilizou dados primário, cujo instrumento de coleta abordou 20 indicadores da oferta turística que foram trabalhados pela estatística descritiva e pela análise fatorial. Os indicadores foram distribuídos em seis categorias: praias e afins, serviços e atrativos não naturais, infraestrutura básica, vias terrestres, serviços de transporte de passageiros e equipamentos de lazer. Observou-se que o principal componente da oferta turística no município é praias e afins, o que caracteriza o turismo como de sol e mar. Os equipamentos de lazer precisam de atenção especial, pois foi o fator com média baixa de avaliação e segundo os residentes caracteriza-se por poucas opções. Conclui-se que, a oferta turística no município de Ilhéus necessita de atenção e investimento para que a infraestrutura do município atenda aos anseios de residentes e visitantes.

    This research analyses the touristic offer in the municipality of Ilhéus, in the south Bahia, from the perspective of its residents. Specifically, it analyses the evaluation of the attractions, equipments, services and infrastructure of touristic facilities and identifies the most representative factors of the touristic offer. The research was based on 20 indicative information on touristic offer which have been worked on by descriptive statistics and by the factorial analysis. The indicators were distributed in six factors: beaches and related things, services and non-natural attractions, basic infrastructure, terrestrial roadways, transportantion services and leisure equipment. It was observed that the main component of the touristic offer are the beaches and things related to it (28,183% of the explained variance), which characterizes the tourism as of sun and sea. The leisure equipments need special attention, once they were the factor with the lower rate in average evaluation, and according to the residents, it's characterizes by having few options. As a conclusion, it can be said that the touristic offer in Ilhéus needs more attention and investiments, so that the municipality's infrastructure can fulfill the expectations of its residents and visitors.
