    África está en proceso de cambio, ha hecho grandes avances al poner en valor sus riquezas naturales, su numerosa población y otras muchas fortalezas para presentarse ante el mundo como un lugar de oportunidad, pero sigue siendo escenario de diversos conflictos, guerras e inestabilidades.

    Ante este cambio, China, quien también fue protagonista de un auge similar ha introducido al continente en su punto de mira y, mediante inversiones y financiación de infraestructura, ha tomado posiciones económicas y políticas en esta región, que a la vez le han generado deudas perjudiciales.

    Ante el papel de china en África, Europa, otro actor de relevancia en el continente, se presenta con una larga historia de cooperación y nuevas estrategias para con el continente basadas en los nuevos retos que les afectan de manera conjunta, como la necesidad de estabilidad y seguridad, el cambio climático o la transición digital.

    Africa is undergoing a process of change; it has made great strides in enhancing its natural wealth, its large population, and many other strengths to present itself to the world as a place of opportunity, but it continues to be the scene of various conflicts, wars and instabilities.

    In the face of this change, China, who was also the protagonist of a similar boom, has introduced the continent into its sights and through investments and infrastructurefinancing has taken economic and political positions in this region, which at the same time has generated harmful debts.

    Faced with China's role in Africa, Europe, another major player on the continent, has a long history of cooperation and new strategies for the continent based on the new challenges that affect them jointly, such as the need for stability and security, climate change and the digital transition.
