La orientación universitaria para la mejora de la empleabilidad de egresados

    Una educación de calidad es la piedra angular de todo sistema educativo. Si bien, buscar un sistema de calidad establece los componentes de la formación claves para tal fin. En este sentido, la orientación universitaria es fundamental. Muchos de los esfuerzos que se realizan para que la orientación universitaria se ajuste a los criterios esperados por los receptores de la misma no son valorados como positivos por los estudiantes. Ante tal realidad y con el fin de configurar una educación universitaria de calidad desde el constructo orientación en la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Salamanca se desarrolla un proyecto de innovación con el que se pretende dar respuesta a la necesidad real de los estudiantes del Grado de Pedagogía focalizando la mejora de la empleabilidad. Es decir, conocer cómo perciben los estudiantes el proceso formativo del grado centrando la información en la orientación recibida para su futuro laboral. Para ello, se contacta con el total de egresados del Grado de Pedagogía vía online (N=205) mediante un cuestionario de Google Drive, del que se han obtenido 78 respuestas. A su vez, se solicita colaboración a los estudiantes de último curso, de los cuales 8 participan, mediante una entrevista, como informantes. Tras la recogida de información se esclarece la necesidad de fortalecer la orientación profesional desde el primer curso de grado hasta el último. Aspecto que determina, como líneas de futuro, en este contexto, configurar un programa centrando la orientación profesional desde la construcción del proyecto profesional.

    A quality education is the cornerstone of any education system. Seeking to provide a quality education system helps to establish the key components that will lead to its achievement. In this framework, the inclusion of guidance in universities is essential. It is often that attempts to make university guidance more adjusted to the expectations of the recipients are not well received by students. Considering this reality, while also aiming to configure a quality university education on the construct of university guidance in the Faculty of Education of the University of Salamanca, we have developed an innovation project to address the employability-related needs of the students from the Degree in Pedagogy. Knowing how these students perceive the educational process in this degree related to the guidance they have received regarding their future career. To this end, we contacted all the graduates from the Degree of Pedagogy (N=205) through an online questionnaire hosted by Google, from which we received 78 answers. We also asked current last-year students for their participation in a more in-depth interview and interviewed 8 of them. After the data gathering process, we detected the need to strengthen the professional guidance provided from the first to the last year of the degree. This lead to the establishment of some future lines of research, such as the development of a programme focused on professional guidance on the basis of the development of a professional project.
