El artículo realiza un repaso por las principales normativas para tratar de dar significado al término de Persona con Discapacidad. Para ello, señala lo recogido en la Convención sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad y su relevancia en nuestro ordenamiento jurídico al estar ratificada por el Reino de España y publicada en el Boletín Oficial del Estado. También, se adentra en lo expuesto en la Ley General de los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad y su Inclusión Social. Y, por último, hace referencia ante qué requisitos la Administración considera a las personas con discapacidad, así como las situaciones de incapacidad permanente.

The article reviews the main regulations to try to give meaning to the term Person with Disability. For this, it points out what is contained in the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its relevance in our legal system as it has been ratified by the Kingdom of Spain and published in the Official State Gazette. Also, it delves into what is stated in the General Law of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion. And, finally, it refers to what requirements the Administration considers people with disabilities, as well as situations of permanent disability.
