    Este trabajo consiste en analizar la influencia de la conducta de timidez en el desarrollo del lenguaje oral y la comunicación a lo largo de la vida. Motivado por la cantidad de niños, jóvenes y adultos tímidos asentados en nuestra sociedad y las repercusiones que ésta tiene en su vida diaria. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio descriptivo y, como instrumento para la recogida de información, se ha utilizado la encuesta. La muestra se compuso de 391 participantes comprendidos entre los 11 y los 69 años. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la presencia de la timidez en nuestra sociedad como un problema real, influenciado por el ambiente en el que se desenvuelve el individuo, pudiéndose corregir proporcionando las estrategias adecuadas. La mayoría de los encuestados coinciden en que es un problema que influye en el ámbito personal, laboral y social y, por tanto, sería bueno trabajar esta conducta desde la escuela dando a todos los niños las estrategias necesarias para prevenir o reducir esta conducta. Como conclusión, cabe destacar el alto grado de influencia de esta conducta en el desarrollo lingüístico, social, emocional y personal de los individuos que la padecen y por ello, la necesidad urgente de comenzar en las etapas de educación infantil a tratar esta conducta de forma generalizada y, de esta manera, impedir que en nuestra sociedad predominen los adultos con conductas extremadamente tímidas.

    This work consists of analyzing the influence of shyness behavior in the development of oral language and communication throughout life. Motivated by the amount of shy children, youth and adults settled in our society and the repercussions that this has on their daily lives. For this, a descriptive study has been carried out and, as an instrument for the collection of information, the survey has been used. The sample consisted of 391 participants between the ages of 11 and 69. The results obtained show the presence of shyness in our society as a real problem, influenced by the environment in which the individual develops, and can be corrected by providing the appropriate strategies. Most respondents agree that it is a problem that affects the personal, work and social environment and, therefore, it would be good to work this behavior from school giving all children the necessary strategies to prevent or reduce this behavior. In conclusion, it should be noted the high degree of influence of this behavior on the linguistic, social, emotional and personal development of the individuals who suffer from it and therefore, the urgent need to begin in the early childhood stages to treat this behavior in a generalized and, in this way, prevent adults with extremely shy behaviors from prevailing in our society.
