Resumen de Grêmio e Internacional e a integração com a história, cultura e os hábitos gaúchos: a identidade com base no contraste ao sentimento de brasilidade

  Considerado o esporte mais popular do Brasil e do planeta, o futebol tem despertado cada vez mais interesse no meio acadêmico. Com base nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo teve como objetivo fundamental verificar as formas que se deu a integração do Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense e Sport Club Internacional com os elementos históricos e culturais dos habitantes do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, tendo como “pano de fundo” a percepção de que a formação desta identidade se deu, de forma eventual, com base em uma identidade que levava em consideração um contraste ao sentimento de brasilidade. Para tanto, realizou-se pesquisa exploratória e bibliográfica. Percebeu-se que a representatividade clubística de Grêmio e Internacional e as questões associadas a dicotomia “Gre-Nal” acabaram sendo elementos que ajudaram a consolidar a relação íntima dos gaúchos com estes clubes, sendo essa transpassada algumas vezes para áreas externas ao futebol, como o ambiente político do próprio Estado, por exemplo. Verificou-se também que a própria dicotomia entre Grêmio e Internacional acabou por ser deixada de lado momentaneamente em algumas situações históricas, dado a necessidade de confrontar-se em uma situação que envolvia um causa considerada “gaúcha”.

  Considered the most popular sport in Brazil and on the planet, football has attracted more and more interest in the academic world. Based on this perspective, the main objective of the present study was to verify the ways in which the integration of the Foot-Ball Club Porto Alegrense and Sport Club Internacional with the historical and cultural elements of the inhabitants of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, having as " background "to the perception that the formation of this identity occurred, eventually, based on an identity that took into consideration a contrast to the feeling of Brazilianness. For that, an exploratory and bibliographical research was carried out. It was noticed that the club representation of Gremio and Internacional and the issues associated with the dichotomy "Gre-Nal" ended up being elements that helped to consolidate the intimate relation of the gauchos with these clubs, being this one crossed sometimes to areas outside the soccer, like the political environment of the state itself, for example. It was also found that the dichotomy between Gremio and Internacional itself was momentarily overlooked in some historical situations, given the need to confront a situation that involved a cause considered "gaucho."
