Resumen de Percepción de la motivación académica docente y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de sexto de primaria de un distrito limeño

El estudio buscó determinar la relación entre la percepción que tiene el estudiante sobre la motivación académica del profesor y su propia perfomance académica en sexto grado de educación primaria. La primera variable fue medida con el Cuestionario desarrollado por Patiño, Laura y Rado (2009) y la segunda con los desempeños mostrados en los registros por 275 escolares al finalizar bimestre dos. Nuestros hallazgos muestran un mayoritario nivel superior en la percepción de la motivación académica. En cuanto al desempeño académico se encontró principalmente niveles de Logro esperado. Se ha encontrado un promedio mejor en el rendimiento académico a favor de las escuelas particulares. El sexo y la edad no mar-can diferencias para ambas variables. Finalmente las correlaciones encontradas no han sido significativas.

The study seeks to determine the relation of academic motivation applied by teacher and academic performance in students from sixth grade of elementary level. For the study of the first variable was applied Teaching Motivation questionnaire of Patiño, Laura & Rado (2009) to 275 male and female students in elementary sixth grade from Surco district in order to as-sess the perception that students have with respect to the motivation that exert their teachers. Likewise, we collected the notes obtained by the students at the conclusion of the second bimester. It was found that the academic motivation is of a higher level and the academic per-formance is the level of achievement (A).Only found significant differences according to the type of educational institution on academic performance. There were no significant differ-ences according to sex and age and therefore correlations are made with the total sample. No correlations were found between motivation academic teaching and academic performance in sixth grade pupils of the elementary from Surco district.
