Proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente con gastroenteritis aguda en el servicio de urgencias.

    INTRODUCCIÓN: La gastroenteritis aguda supone un cambio en la consistencia de las heces cuya gravedad se ve aumentada en los pacientes menores de 5 años y sobre todo en los primeros meses de vida. Por ello, es importante que enfermería como profesional de salud realice una valoración integral del paciente con gastroenteritis aguda y llevar a cabo un adecuado plan de cuidados.

    OBJETIVOS: En este trabajo el objetivo principal es realizar un proceso de atención de enfermería (PAE) a través de los diagnósticos (NANDA), los listados de criterios (NOC) y la clasificación de actividades de enfermería (NIC).

    METODOLOGIA: Realizamos una primera valoración y esta nos servirá para desarrollar los diagnósticos de enfermería (NANDA) que emplearemos para plantear los objetivos (NOC) y las actividades que tendremos que realizar (NIC) para mejorar el estado de salud del paciente.

    CONCLUSIONES: Tras la evaluación final se consiguió completar los objetivos que se plantearon durante la estancia del paciente en urgencias. Tras este proceso se mejoró el estado de salud del paciente y se le dieron pautas para evitar efectos indeseados a lo largo de su proceso de recuperación completa.

    INTRODUCCIÓN: Acute gastroenteritis involves a change in the consistency of the stool, the severity of which is increased in patients under 5 years of age and especially in the first months of life. Therefore, it is important that nursing as a health professional carry out a comprehensive assessment of the patient with acute gastroenteritis and carry out an adequate care plan.

    OBJECTIVES: In this work, the main objective is to carry out a nursing care process (PAE) through diagnoses (NANDA), criteria lists (NOC) and the classification of nursing activities (NIC).

    METHODOLOGY: We carry out a first assessment and this will help us to develop the nursing diagnoses (NANDA) that we will use to establish the objectives (NOC) and the activities that we will have to carry out (NIC) to improve the patient’s health status.

    CONCLUSIONS: After the final evaluation, it was possible to complete the objectives that were set during the patient’s stay in the emergency room. After this process, the patient’s health status was improved and guidelines were given to avoid unwanted effects throughout their complete recovery process.
