Resumen de Une relecture de l’auto-affection henryenne en christianisme

Yves Meesen

  • Henryan self-affection can be presented as performative rather than constative discourse. Through this angle of approach self-affection becomes the locus of transition from a hypothetical theology to an apothetical theology. Namely, it plays the role of an intuitive filling of a theology that is only philosophically signified. In other words, it is in self-experiencing through ethical action, beyond any language, that God manifests himself. Michel Henry’s phenomenology can be at one with the Scriptures because the Scriptures are the result of an experience of the Word of Life.
