  El objetivo de la presente investigación es identificar la disposición a pagar (DAP) por parte de los demandantes de bienes y servicios ambientales que visitan las Áreas Protegidas (AP) de la Amazonía, así como las variables que la determinan. La metodología utilizada para identificar las variables es el método de valoración contingente, obteniendo que las variables que más influyen en la disponibilidad de pagar son: gastos totales y el propósito de la visita (disfrutar del paisaje existente), otras como la educación e ingresos no son significantes pero influyen en el modelo. En conclusión, la DAP promedio es 5,15 USD por el disfrute y acceso a las AP.

  The aim of the current research is to identify the willingness to pay (WTP) by the demanders of environmental goods and services that visit the Protected Areas (PA) of the Amazon, as well as the variables that determine it. The methodology used to identify the variables is the contingent valuation method, obtaining that the variables that the most influence the willingness to pay are the total expenses and the purpose of the visit (enjoy the existing landscape), others such as education and income influence the model but are not significant. In conclusion, the average WTPis USD 5,15 for the enjoyment and access to PA.
