Resumen de Sistemas sismorresistentes en la arquitectura histórica de fábrica: analogías entre los sistemas de las catedrales góticas españolas y las mezquitas y palacios iraníes

  La presente investigación forma parte de una tesis doctoral destinada a caracterizar diferentes sistemas sismorresistentes utilizados en la arquitectura histórica de fábrica. El objetivo es analizar y clasificar en tipos estructurales y constructivos estos sistemas, en gran medida, todavía desconocidos. Contribuir a disipar esta laguna del conocimiento representa un importante avance, no solo para continuar completando la historia del patrimonio histórico construido, sino también en cuanto se refiere a la posibilidad de realizar una racional conservación de este importante legado. La metodología analítica seguida es la misma que se utilizó, hace 17 años, en el caso de la catedrales góticas españolas, que sirven de referencia a la investigación en curso. El artículo pone de manifiesto las diferencias y analogías existentes entre los sistemas sismorresistentes detectados en las construcciones de fábrica histórica sismorresistentes analizadas en España e Irán.

  This research is part of a doctoral thesis aimed at characterizing different earthquake-resistant systems used in historical masonry architecture. The objective is to analyze and classify these systems, to a large extent, still unknown, into structural and constructive types. Contributing to dispel this knowledge gap represents an important advance, not only to continue completing the history of the built historical heritage, but also in terms of the possibility of carrying out a rational conservation of this important legacy. The analytical methodology followed is the same that was used, 17 years ago, in the case of the Spanish Gothic cathedrals, which serve as a reference for the ongoing investigation. The article highlights the differences and analogies between the earthquake resistant systems detected in the historic earthquake-resistant masonry buildings analyzed in Spain and Iran.
