(Algunas) Reflexiones sobre los estudios de performance en la academia

    En esta edición de post(s) presentamos algunos ensayos que somatizan nociones de performance y performatividad. La convocatoria de esta serie monográfica es abierta y no todos los temas entran en ese paraguas; sin embargo, esos ensayos performados, performativos y performáticos son un síntoma que quisiéramos que sea viral y se disperse en las siguientes ediciones, pues proponen maneras de investigar y crear a través/desde/con1 el cuerpo, desdoblando tejidos disciplinares almidonados por la tradición. Estos ensayos se abren como cajas de herramientas para pensar la propia identidad como performance, para entender cómo los archivos de lo invisible, los gestos, construyen sentidos. Hablan de la performatividad del lenguaje, usando a las palabras como objetos, haciendo que no signifiquen tanto por su carga semántica, sino por su condición escultórica. También hay ensayos que hablan de la manera en que los artefactos influyen en la performatividad de lo cotidiano y ensayos con historias incompletas, construidas con el cuerpo en movimiento, con tránsitos que no se terminan.

    In this edition of post (s), we present some essays that somatize notions of performance and performativity. The call for this monographic series is open and not all topics fall under that umbrella. However, these performative and performed essays are a symptom that we would like to go viral and spread in the following editions, as they propose ways of investigating and creating through/from/ with the body, unfolding starchy disciplinary tissues by tradition. These essays open up as toolboxes for thinking about one's identity as performance, for understanding how the files of the invisible, gestures, construct meanings. They speak of the performativity of language, using words as objects, making them mean not so much for their semantic load, but for their sculptural condition. There are also essays that talk about the way in which artifacts influence the performativity of everyday life and essays with incomplete stories, built with the body in motion, with transits that do not end.
