Resumen de Intervenció arqueològica al castell de Castellbò: Noves dades sobre la seva evolució

  Els controls arqueològics realitzats l’any 2018 dins els projectes d’execució del modificat 1 i el de la fase 3 de restauració del Castell de Castellbò es van centrar en aconseguir tres objectius. Primerament la retirada de la totalitat de terres aportades per a bancals i part de la fase d’enderrocs del castell. Un segon objectiu va ser l’excavació d’una tomba que restava pendent de la fase I, l’últim objectiu, finalitzar amb la neteja dels murs situats al costat nord oest de la fortificació. Aquestes actuacions han permès , per un costat delimitar diferents àmbits en la plataforma central del Castell, els quals resten per excavar, entre els que destaquem el que sembla ser un forn de calç, i per un altre costat efectuar una cronologia aproximada, de quina podria haver estat l’evolució del Castell des dels seus inicis.

  The archaeological controls that were carried out with the execution of modified 1 and phase 3 of the executive project of restoration of Castellbò Castle allowed three objectives. Firstly, the withdrawal of all land contributed to terraces and part of the demolition phase of the castle. A second objective was the excavation of a tomb remaining pendant of phase I. To finish with the cleaning of the walls located on the north west side of the fort. These actions allowed to delimit different areas, which remain to excavate, among which there is what seems to be a lime kiln and also has been able to carry out an approximate chronology, of what could have been the evolution of the Castle from its beginnings.
