    Por fascitis plantar (FP) entendemos una inflamación aguda de la aponeurosis plantar o fascia plantar.1 .Es una de las patologías de miembro inferior que más impacto causan en la persona produciendo dolor, discapacidad y limitación funcional.2 Se caracteriza por un dolor localizado en la zona anterointerna del calcáneo que puede irradiarse hacia el borde interno del pie3, no suele deberse a un traumatismo, sino al desgaste por el trabajo habitual que realiza el individuo, es decir, al microtraumatismo repetitivo.1

    By plantar fasciitis (FP) we understand an acute inflammation of the plantar fascia or plantar fascia. It is one of the lower limb pathologies that cause the most impact on the person, producing pain, disability and functional limitation. It is characterized by localized pain in the antero-internal area of the calcaneus that can radiate towards the inner edge of the foot, which is not usually due to trauma, but rather to wear and tear due to the usual work carried out, that is, repetitive microtrauma.
