Resumen de "La Otra Sentimentalidad" y "La poesía de la experiencia": Una aproximación

En la vida literaria se acuñan continuamente expresiones y etiquetas críticas para definir las novedades. Algunas resultan afortunadas y con los años entran en la historia literaria. Relacionadas con la poesía española, dos de estas etiquetas vienen siendo muy discutidas en los últimos años entre nosotros: «la otra sentimentalidad» y «la poesía de la experiencia». Asumidas por unos y denostadas por otros, a partir de ellas voy a hacer algunas consideraciones sobre algunos de los poetas españoles más representativos en las últimas décadas.

New expressions and critical labels are continuously coined in the literary world in order to define novelty. Some of these turn out to be fortuitous and with the passage of time, enter into literary history. In relation to Spanish poetry, we have come to debate two of these labels in the last few years: “the other sentimentality” and “the poetry of experience.” Taken up by some and reviled by others, I will consider some of the most representative Spanish poets of the last decades in light of these terms.
