    Este trabajo trata de fijar las fechas y las causas que motivaron el nacimiento del fenómeno cooperativo en distintos ámbitos, con especial referencia al ámbito almeriense: exponemos la génesis del cooperativismo agrario almeriense, para lo cual previamente realizamos un breve repaso a los orígenes del cooperativismo a nivel general y, siguiendo con la misma línea de síntesis, a los orígenes del cooperativismo agrario en el ámbito nacional.

    This work tries to fix the dates and the causes that motivated the birth of the cooperative phenomenon in different environments, with special reference to the almeriense's environment: we expose the genesis of the almeriense's agrarian cooperativism, for that which make a previously brief review of the origins of the cooperativism in the general level and, continuing with the same synthesis line, to the origins of the agrarian cooperativism in the national environment.
