    La etapa americana de Antonio Ruiz Soler (1937-1949), Antonio, constituye el momento de eclosión de su creatividad y permanente evolución en un entorno caracterizado por la diversidad artística y la capacidad de absorción de diferentes corrientes y tendencias.

    Durante doce años, Antonio realiza su actividad en el corazón de Nueva York, en Hollywood y en Chicago, y ello propiciará tanto relaciones artísticas como la inmersión en el ambiente musical, coréutico —y más tarde cinematográfico— en el que la «Gran Manzana» aglutina figuras autóctonas americanas, así como artistas llegados a través de la emigración e incluso el exilio. Esta amalgama marcará a toda una generación, abriendo la absorción e integración de elementos cuyo asentamiento y posterior desarrollo tendrá lugar de vuelta a tierras españolas.

    En esta etapa se ha podido constatar la configuración de un repertorio coréutico cuya consolidación llegará con la creación y mantenimiento de su propia compañía de danza (1953-1978).

    The American stage of Antonio Ruiz Soler (1937-1949), Antonio, constitutes, without a doubt, the moment of the birth of his creativity and of permanent evolution in an environment characterized by artistic diversity and the capacity of absorption of different currents and trends.

    For twelve years, Antonio carries out his activity in the heart of New York, in Hollywood, as well as in Chicago, and this will encourage both artistic relations and immersion in the musical, choreutical, and later cinematographic environment in which the «Big Apple». It brings together Native American figures, as well as artists who came through emigration and even exile. This amalgam will mark a whole generation, opening the absorption and integration of elements whose settlement and subsequent development will take place back to Spanish lands.

    At this stage it has been possible to confirm the configuration of a choreutic repertoire whose consolidation will come with the creation and maintenance of his own dance company (1953-1978).
