Resumen de El patrimonio arquitectónico en la Andalucía rural: estado de la cuestión y factores clave para su recuperación a través de nuevos modelos turísticos

  La arquitectura vernácula en el campo andaluz se presenta como un conjunto de espacios en decadencia y, en múltiples casos, en riesgo de desaparición. Sin embargo, son focos de oportunidad que precisan de un proceso de reconversión que garantice su recuperación y puesta en valor. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es identificar estrategias para la recuperación social, ambiental y cultural del medio rural andaluz. Dentro de este contexto se plantea el turismo rural como una herramienta válida para la puesta en valor del patrimonio existente, exponiéndola repercusión que tiene en Andalucía, y su incidencia en el patrimonio arquitectónico vernáculo que se encuentra diseminado en dicho medio. La pregunta abordada es la posibilidad de utilizar un modelo turístico sostenible y respetuoso como herramienta para garantizar la viabilidad económica de la recuperación y puesta en valor del patrimonio rural andaluz. A través de un recorrido desde inicios del siglo XX hasta la actualidad, planteando la relación de esta problemática con el marco normativo urbanístico y turístico, tanto a nivel autonómico co mo estatal y europeo, se exponerlas convergencias y divergencias existentes, que suponen un punto de inflexión en la generación de oportunidades. El trabajo pone de relieve diferentes factores que definen el turismo rural, generalmente abordados de forma aislada, pero que tienen implicaciones y conexiones que obligan a tratarlo de forma global. De esta manera, se espera abrir nuevas perspectivas con un carácter movilizador y propositivo, que faciliten y ayuden a la dinamización de este tipo de intervenciones necesarias para la supervivencia del patrimonio arquitectónico rural andaluz

  Vernacular architecture in the Andalusian countryside is considereda set of spaces in decline and, in many cases, at risk of disappearing.Even thoughthese places represent a greatopportunity, they need a process of transformation to ensure their recovery and enhancement.The main goal of this paper is to identify strategies towards a social, environmental and cultural recovery of the rural world. In this context,rural tourism is presented as a valid tool to enhance the existing heritage, whilst showing its repercussions on Andalucía and the incidence it has on the vernacular architectural heritage you can find scattered in this environment. The question addressed is: “Is it possible to usea sustainable and respectful tourism model as a tool to guarantee the economic viability of the recovery and enhancement of Andalusia's rural heritage?”.To find out, we decide to explore a journey from the 20th century to the present day. Besides, we alsotake into consideration therelationship between this issueand the regulatory framework for urbanismandtourism, includingregional, national and European level. This way, we exposethe existing convergences and divergences, which represent a turning point in the generation of opportunities. Additionally, we consider of special relevancethe existing framework in terms of economic help. The paperhighlights different factors that define rural tourism, generally dealt with separately,even though theyhave implications and connections that make it necessary to consideras a whole. This way, we hopeto open up new perspectives with a mobilising and proactive motive. Thiswill facilitate and help to dynamizethis kind of interventions that we consider necessaryfor the survival of Andalusia's rural architectural heritage.
