Las metodologías aplicadas en la simulación y control de mercados financieros ha sido un tema de interés en la última década. Contar con un procedimiento que permita predecir y anticipar cambios no deseados en variables financieras conlleva a una mejor toma de decisiones, aspecto de profundo interés dentro de la ingeniería financiera, donde con pronósticos confiables se logra una mejor gestión financiera y una cobertura del riesgo financiero mucho más eficiente. En el trabajo empírico, mediante el análisis de indicadores macroeconómicos y del comportamiento histórico de variables financieras, se propone un procedimiento que cumpla con dicha tarea. Se toma como objeto de estudio el mercado de divisas (FOREX) con el par EUR/USD, buscando que los resultados de la investigación se puedan aplicar al sector bancario y proveer información que se pueda encadenar y traiga consigo una mejor cobertura de las cuentas por pagar y cobrar en moneda extranjera.

The methodologies applied in the simulation and control of financial markets has been a topic of interest in the last decade. Having a procedure that allows predicting and anticipating unwanted changes in financial variables leads to better decision-making, an aspect of deep interest within financial engineering, where with reliable forecasts better financial management and coverage of financial risk are achieved. more efficient. In the empirical work, through the analysis of macroeconomic indicators and the historical behavior of financial variables, a procedure is proposed that fulfills this task. The object of study is the foreign exchange market (FOREX) with the EUR/USD pair, seeking that the results of the investigation can be applied to the banking sector and provide information that can be linked and brings with it a better coverage of accounts by pay and collect in foreign currency.
