- If culture were conceived as a shared group of signsand symbols, it would be pertinent to distinguish itfrom behaviour. Then, there would be two differentrealities, though related: culture and behaviour. Thisis the way the article develops and it also proposes theconvenience of distinguishing, at the same time, culturefrom other closer realities as determined materialconditions and regular devices.
