    La religión musulmana fue uno de los acontecimientos más trascendentales de la historia de la humanidad cuando aparece, durante el primer tercio del siglo VII, otorgando un nuevo sistema político. Económico, social y religioso, que nace en el mismo corazón de la península Arábiga y, en poco más de cincuenta años, se extendió desde el Atlántico hasta la India, de Oriente a Occidente. Todos esos pueblos recogieron en ese vasto espacio un mismo idioma común que era el árabe y al mismo tiempo profesaban un mismo credo religioso llamado Islam. La vida de los creyentes musulmanes está marcada por las oraciones, desde el nacimiento hasta el instante de la muerte. Es costumbre susurrar al oído tanto de los recién nacidos como las agonizantes frases del Corán. Su protocolo es muy variado, pues depende de la cultura de cada país.

    The Muslim religion was one of the most transcendental events of human history when it appears in the first third of the seventh century; it provided a new political system. Its influence has been economical, social and religious. It was born in the heart of the Arabic peninsula, and with less of fifty years, it spread from the Atlantic Ocean to India, from east towards west. All those peoples gathered in that vast space the same common language, Arabic; and at the same time, they professed the same religious believe, the Islam. The life of the faithful Muslim is marked by prayers, since they are born till their death. It is a custom to whisper phrases from the Koran to newborn babies and agonizing people. They have a great variety in their protocols, because it depends on the culture of each country.
