Resumen de MODELO DE GESTIÓN SOSTENIBLE PARA EL PLANETARIO DE LA ARMADA DEL ECUADOR

  El presente estudio de investigación de tipo exploratorio y descriptivo, tuvo como objetivo elaborar un modelo de gestión que permita la sostenibilidad del Planetario de la Armada del Ecuador. Para su desarrollo fue preciso realizar una evaluación de la infraestructura actual y los servicios que ofrece a la ciudadanía con el fin de encontrar indicadores idóneos que sirvan de guía para la estructuración de un plan que este orientado hacia la mejora continua y que sirva de apoyo al momento de diseñar e implementar una estrategia de intervención sostenible. Además, se realizó un análisis comparativo del Planetario de la Armada del Ecuador con el Observatorio de Astronómico ubicado en la ciudad Quito, Ecuador; el Planetario Galileo Galilei, ubicado en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina; y, el Hayden Planetarium, situado en la ciudad de New York, Estados Unidos.  El análisis comparativo fue basado en el Modelo de Benchmarking adaptado por Robert de Camp (Del Giogio Solfa , 2012).  Con los resultados de este estudio, se pretende mejorar la percepción y opinión ciudadana respecto al Planetario de la Armada del Ecuador, que debido a la serie de debilidades que presenta, ha impedido que se mantenga más posicionado en la mente de la comunidad, y se muestre como un punto de interés turístico para locales y extranjeros que visitan la ciudad de Guayaquil en forma constante.

  The present exploratory and descriptive research study aimed to develop a management model that allows the sustainability of the Planetarium of the Ecuadorian Navy. For its development, it was necessary to carry out an evaluation of the current infrastructure and the services it offers to citizens in order to find suitable indicators that serve as a guide for structuring a plan that is oriented towards continuous improvement and that supports the moment to design and implement a sustainable intervention strategy. In addition, a comparative analysis was made of the Planetarium of the Ecuadorian Navy with the Astronomical Observatory located in the city of Quito, Ecuador; the Galileo Galilei Planetarium, located in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina; and, the Hayden Planetarium, located in New York City, United States. The comparative analysis was based on the Benchmarking Model adapted by Robert de Camp (Del Giogio Solfa, 2012). With the results of this study, it is intended to improve the perception and public opinion regarding the Planetarium of the Ecuadorian Navy, which due to the series of weaknesses it presents, has prevented it from being more positioned in the mind of the community, and shown as a point of tourist interest for locals and foreigners who visit the city of Guayaquil constantly.
