    La Teoría del capital humano ha sido la encargada de desarrollar los intangibles asociados a los individuos pero, si bien su vertiente teórica es bastante completa; paradójicamente su operativización ha sido tradicional y excesivamente limitada a la educación formal, La noción de aprendizaje, por otra parte, no tiene esas limitaciones y aporta mayores matices a la generación, uso y difusión de conocimiento; erigiéndose como mas completo que el anterior, En este estudio se analiza en profundidad el concepto de aprendizaje y su dimensión territorial; y se propone una metodología para su operativización. Los resultados obtenidos muestran evidentes diferencias entre la aplicación territorial de uno u otro concepto y Ia necesidad de seguir investigando en este sentido.

    The Theory of human capital has been in charge of developing the intangibles associated with the individuals but, although it’s theoretical approach is quite com- plete; paradoxically, its operationalization has been traditional and excessively limited to formal education. The notion of learning, on the other hand, does not have these limitations and provides greater nuances to the generation, use and diffusion of knowledge; becoming a more complete concept. ln this study this concept of learning and its territorial dimension are analyzed in depth; and a methodology for its operationalization is proposed. The results obtained show noticeable differences between the territorial application of one or the other concept and the need to continue investigating in this way.
