  En este artículo se repasa el hiato que hay en la filosofía foucaultiana y que corresponde al hueco existente entre sus estudios sobre el poder y su última fase, a saber, la de la estética de la existencia. Se sostiene la tesis de que entre ambos períodos no hay una discontinuidad sino que la estética de la existencia surge como solución a una serie de problemas que derivan de las tesis foucaultiana sobre el poder.

  This article reviews the hiatus that exists in Foucauldian philosophy and that corresponds to the gap between its studies on power and its last phase, that of the aesthetics of existence. The thesis is maintained that between both periods there is no discontinuity but that the aesthetics of existence arises as a solution to a series of problems that derives from the Foucauldian thesis on power.
