  La complejidad derivada de integrar a la sustentabilidad con la competitividad y la naturaleza económica del sistema de desarrollo actual, resulta un reto, pero también representa la oportunidad de replantear diversos conceptos que permitan la incorporación de innovaciones en las empresas agrícolas. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo proponer el concepto de gestión sustentable competitivo, una clasificación metodológica y de análisis del concepto, que respalde su contribución empírica. La metodología empleada consiste en el análisis de los conceptos de competitividad y sustentabilidad, a partir del planteamiento del concepto de gestión como agente de yuxtaposición entre estos; se identificaron las dimensiones de la sustentabilidad, alineando las características de la competitividad para categorizar ambos conceptos y definir en indicadores de medición de un modo de describir la generación de ventajas competitivas y sustentabilidad insertas en el ámbito empresarial agrícola.

  The complexity derived from integrating sustainability with competitiveness and the economic nature of the current development system is a challenge, but it also represents the opportunity to rethink various concepts that allow the incorporation of innovations in agricultural companies. The present research aims to propose the concept of competitive sustainable management, a methodological classification and analysis of the concept, which supports its empirical contribution. The methodology used consists of the analysis of the concepts of competitiveness and sustainability, from the approach of the management concept as a juxtaposition agent between them; The dimensions of sustainability were identified, aligning the characteristics of competitiveness to categorize both concepts and define in measurement indicators a way to describe the generation of competitive advantages and sustainability inserted in the agricultural business environment.
