    Se dan a conocer aquí ocho poemas en latín que han aparecido en un manuscrito hallado en el Archivo Municipal de Lérida. Además de presentar el texto y la traducción al castellano (rítmica y literal), se analiza el contenido de los epigramas, todos ellos de temática religiosa. También se ha recabado información sobre el autor, Joaquín Carnicer, que había nacido en Zaragoza en 1743 y sufrió el exilio impuesto por Carlos III en 1767, con la fortuna de poder regresar a España tras la restauración de la Compañía de Jesús (1814), en cuya capital murió en 1819.

    Throughout the course of this paper we make eight Latin poems that showed up in a manuscript found in the Municipal Archive of Lleida. In addition to the presentation of the Latin text and its Spanish translation (rhythmical and literal), we analyse the meaning of these epigrams, which are all of them religious. We also report about its author, Joaquín Carnicer, who was born in Saragossa in 1743 and he suffered exile in 1767 because of Charles III will, but luckily he came back to Spain after the restoration of the Society of Jesus (1814), in which capital city he died in 1819.
