La pieza separada undécima de Tesoro artístico y Cultura roja de la Causa General aporta información interesante sobre la salvaguardia, destrucción y robo del patrimonio artístico y arqueológico en territorio de la República durante la Guerra Civil, especialmente rica respecto a la provincia de Barcelona. De la instrucción barcelonesa destacan cuatro casos que aportan información muy valiosa sobre aspectos de la gestión del patrimonio cultural de la Generalitat republicana, el robo de una importante colección numismática, que incluía el dracma de Barkeno, así como detalles acerca del proceso de incautación de la Colección Cambó y sobre la nacionalización del Tesoro de Tivissa.

The eleventh separate file of Tesoro artístico y Cultura roja (Artistic Treasure and Red Culture) of the Causa General provides interesting information about the safeguarding, destruction and theft of the artistic and archaeological heritage in the Republican territory during the Civil War, especially rich in the area of Barcelona. Preliminary investigation in Barcelona unveiled four especial cases that provide invaluable information about aspects of the management of the cultural heritage by the Republican government of Catalonia (the Generalitat), the theft of an important numismatic collection that included the drachma of Barkeno and details about both the process of confiscation of the Cambó Collection, and the nationalization of the Tivissa Hoard.
