    Hoy en día el desarrollo de software se ha vuelto muy competitivo, es así que se busca en el desarrollo Fluidez, calidad y bajar los costos en la ejecución de los diferentes proyectos; para esto es necesario contar con la agilidad que nos brinda una metodología ágil de desarrollo. En el mundo de las metodologías agiles de desarrollo de software existen una gran variedad de opciones y alternativas, por lo cual los líderes de cada proyecto tienen la difícil tarea de seleccionar la alternativa que mejor se acople a sus necesidades y lo principal a los recursos con los que dispone. Este estudio se centra en el análisis del método ágil SCRUM y en cómo ser utilizada en el desarrollo de software para la automatización del sistema biométrico del instituto superior tecnológico Yavirac. Al momento de la ejecución del proyecto se pudo implementar la metodología SCRUM, obteniendo como resultado un producto viable y funcional, demostrando la eficiencia de la metodología SCRUM.

    Nowadays the development of software has become very competitive, that is the reason why We search fluidity, quality and lower costs in the execution of the different projects. For this, it is necessary to have the agility provided by an agile development methodology. In the world of agile software development methodologies there are a wide variety of options and alternatives, for which the leaders of each project have the difficult task of selecting the alternative that best suits their needs and, most importantly, the resources with those available. This study focuses on the analysis of the SCRUM agile method and how it can be used in the development of software for the automation of the biometric system of the Yavirac Higher Technological Institute. At the time of project execution, the SCRUM methodology could be implemented, obtaining as a result a viable and functional product, demonstrating the efficiency of the SCRUM methodology.
