    En este trabajo se han recopilado los epígrafes religiosos del litoral mediterráneo de la Provincia Tarraconensis con tres objetivos: en primer lugar, establecer una clasificación de los epítetos cultuales siguiendo la taxonomía que se ha desarrollado en el marco del proyecto EPIDI. En segundo lugar, llevar a cabo un estudio diferencial en el que se preste especial atención a las divergencias que puedan existir entre los epítetos de los núcleos urbanos y los de las zonas rurales, y explicarlas. Por último, desarrollar un estudio de los dedicantes para determinar la casuística que pudo condicionar la elección de un tipo de epítetos frente a otros en virtud del sexo, del estatus socio-jurídico y, sobre todo, del contexto urbano o rural en el que el agente desarrolló su acción religiosa.

    In this paper I analyse the religious epigraphy from the Mediterranean coast of provincia Tarraconensis with three main targets: firstly, to stablish a classification of the divine epithets attending to the taxonomy created in the framework of the EPIDI project. Secondly, to carry out a differential study focusing on divergencies that may exists between the epithets of urban contexts and those of rural environments. Finally, to develop a study of the worshipers in order to clarify the causes which could have conditioned the election of specific epithets, with the aim of analyse if their action were conditioned by the urban or rural environment where the agents carried out their religious action.
