  Presentamos una lesión vertebral cervical en un individuo adulto joven de época medieval que, a nuestro entender, fue fraguada por un aneurisma sacular de la arteria vertebral derecha a nivel de C3 y que pudo ser la causa de su deceso por una hemorragia brusca. Los aneurismas de la arteria vertebral no son muy frecuentes y no conocemos ningún otro caso paleopatológico.

  We present one case of a vertebral aneurysm in a young adult individual of medieval age. In the right side of the vertebral body of the third cervical vertebrae there is a cavity secondary to the percussion of the vertebral artery beat. It is possible that this pathology was related with the individual’s death. The aneurysms of the vertebral artery are infrequent and we don’t know any other palaeopathological case.
