    En este trabajo se plantea un trayecto histórico sobre la doctrina del Juicio Final a partir de sus antecedentes en el judaísmo antiguo, su auge en el ideario milenarista de la Edad Media, hasta llegar a ciertas perspectivas de su repercusión en la Modernidad. El Juicio Final conforma una doctrina que combina la imagen de Dios como un juez riguroso que ejecuta la Ley, aplicando los castigos o premios relativos a las obras realizadas en vida, con la visión de un rey glorioso que manifestará su reino mesiánico en el que los seres humanos serán salvados por gracia de la intervención divina.

    This work presents a historical journey on the doctrine of the Last Judgment, starting from its antecedents in ancient Judaism, its rise in the millennial ideology of the Middle Ages, until reaching certain perspectives of its repercussion in Modernity. The Final Judgment forms a doctrine that combines the image of God as a rigorous judge who executes the Law, applying the punishments or prizes related to the works carried out in life, with the vision of a glorious king who will manifest his messianic kingdom in which the human beings will be saved by grace of divine intervention.
