Varón de 65 años de edad, que está en su casa arreglando una mula para trabajar en el campo, se atrapa el dedo en ella, amputándose el bisel palmar de F3 del 4º dedo de la mano izquierda.
Acude al servicio de urgencias del centro de salud de zona y se deriva al Hospital correspondiente. Se interviene realizando un colgajo de Joshi y Phocomo, consiguiendo una cobertura satisfactoria al final del postoperatorio con movilidad articular sin complicaciones mayores.

A 65 year old male, who was at home fixing a mule to work in the fields, caught his finger in it, amputating the palmar bevel of F3 of the 4th finger of the left hand.
He went to the emergency department of the local health center and was referred to the corresponding hospital. A Joshi and Phocomo flap was performed, achieving satisfactory coverage at the end of the postoperative period with joint mobility without major complications.
