  El nacimiento de un bebé prematuro ocasiona en los padres un importante estrés.

  Es un tema que ha suscitado gran variedad de estudios e investigaciones ya que el estrés parental y los síntomas depresivos maternos han mostrado ser factores de riesgo para el futuro desarrollo social, conductual y funcional del recién nacido prematuro.

  El ejercicio de la maternidad y la paternidad, así como el proceso de desarrollo pueden verse afectados, especialmente el vínculo padres-bebé por eso considero que el equipo de salud debe estar preparado para tratar con los sentimientos y emociones de estos padres y además brindarles un fácil acceso a servicios que les proporcionen todo el apoyo necesario para su bienestar y el de su bebé.

  Para profundizar en este aspecto se hace una revisión bibliográfica de diferentes estudios científicos.

  The birth of a premature baby causes significant stress on parents.

  It is a topic that has provoked a wide variety of studies and research since parental stress and maternal depressive symptoms have been shown to be risk factors for the future social, behavioral and functional development of the premature newborn.

  The exercise of motherhood and paternity, as well as the development process can be affected, especially the parent-baby bond, so I believe that the health team must be prepared to deal with the feelings and emotions of these parents and also provide them with easy access to services that provide them with all the necessary support for their well-being and that of their baby.

  To deepen this aspect, a bibliographic review of different scientific studies is made.
