    En este artículo se ha llevado a cabo una aproximación al tráfico comercial que hubo entre Cádiz y las zonas Bálticas a través del estudio de las mercancías y consignatarios que transportaron bajo pabellón sueco y danés las embarcaciones que arribaron al puerto de Cádiz entre 1789 y 1800; reflejando el fin del predominio inglés y holandés en aguas del Báltico, dando paso a Dinamarca y Suecia como las nuevas potencias dominantes, que gracias a su neutralidad, permitirá que España pueda continuar con su comercio a pesar de sus intermitentes conflictos con Francia y Gran Bretaña.

    This article has carried out an approach to the commercial traffic that existed between Cadiz and the Baltic areas through the study of the merchandise and consignees that transported the ships that arrived at the port of Cadiz between 1789 and 1800 under the Swedish and Danish flags; reflecting the end of the English and Dutch dominance in Baltic waters, giving way to Denmark and Sweden as the new dominant powers, which thanks to their neutrality, allow spain to continue with its trade despite its intermittent conflicts with Frances and Great Britain.
