Resumen de Prácticas de externalización en Terapia de Pareja

  Evaluar los procesos de nuestras intervenciones terapéuticas, es una tarea científica que los terapeutas debemos comenzar a asumir. Desde esta postura, este artículo da cuenta del estudio realizado para evaluar, descriptivamente, el bautizo del problema a través de las prácticas externalizantes de la Terapia Narrativa de White y Epston (1993). Siguiendo la perspectiva cualitativa, así como la metodología de estudio de caso sistematizado, se recolectaron los datos a través de una audio-grabación en una sesión terapéutica en vivo, posteriormente el análisis de los datos se sujetó al Sistema de Codificación de la Actividad Terapéutica (SCAT-1.0) que clasifica Acciones Comunicacionales las cuales fueron la materia prima de nuestra investigación, pues el análisis se fundamentó en la Teoría de los Actos del Habla. Los hallazgos encontrados no sólo definen la utilidad de la conversación externalizante en el bautizo del problema, sino que, además, revelan el cómo éste se va tejiendo en la conversación terapéutica.

  This article presents the study carried out to evaluate, descriptively, the baptismal phase of the problem through the externalization practices of Narrative Therapy by White and Epston (1993). Following the qualitative perspective, as well as the systematized case study methodology, the data were taken from a single couples therapy session. This marriage was already in a therapeutic process under another model and it was in session 14 where the externalization of the problem was applied. Said session was audio-recorded and, later, the data analysis was carried out using the Coding System of Therapeutic Activity (SCAT-1.0) that classifies Communicational Actions and that were the object of analysis of our research, sponsored in the Theory of Speech Acts. The results highlight the usefulness of externalizing conversation in the christening phase of the problem and reveal how this is woven into the therapeutic dialogue. The limitations of the present work lie in the search for appropriate methods for the correspondence between theory and therapeutic practice, as well as in the characteristics inherent in the design of a single case study.
