This paper presents the teaching-learning programme based on competency development and planned according to ECTS credits, that has been defined for the Power Electronics subject at Universidad of Deusto. The first section of the paper includes a review of those context aspects shared by every university engaged in the Bolonia process and then introduces the specific characteristics of the Deusto Education Model. The programme, planned within this frame, is the result of a progressive cooperative work over six years and it has been validated with respect to the learning results obtained and students comments
