Resumen de Los villancicos plurilingües en Córdoba (1709-1737)

  El artículo presenta cinco villancicos plurilingües impresos en Córdoba entre 1709-1737 destinados a ser cantados en la Catedral y en el Convento de San Agustín de dicha ciudad con ocasión de la Navidad. Tras el estudio bibliográfico de estos cinco villancicos, se analizan los diferentes grados de plurilingüismo e hibridación del castellano con los idiomas italiano, portugués y francés; asimismo se ahondará en la función textual y material de dichos villancicos plurilingües dentro del conjunto que forma el pliego suelto. Por otro lado, se mostrará a través de estos textos cómo se fijan en el imaginario común del momento la imagen y los estereotipos que se proyectan en los personajes vinculados a dichos idiomas.

  The article tackles five plurilingual villancicos printed in Cordoba between 1709-1737, meant to be sung on Christmas Day at the Cathedral and at the Convent of San Agustín. After the bibliographical study of these five villancicos, the different degrees of plurilinguism and hybridization between Spanish and the Italian, Portuguese and French languages are analyzed; furthermore, the paper focuses on the textual and material function of these plurilingual villancicos within the whole chapbooks. Ultimately, through these texts, this essay will show how the image and stereotypes about the characters are fixed in the common imaginary of the period.
