Construcción de cultura de paz en la Universidad de Guayaquil: La mediación como recurso para la mejora y el cambio

    En este artículo, presentamos la iniciativa que se está llevando a cabo en la Universidad de Guayaquil (UG) para la inserción del Servicio de Mediación (SMUG). La finalidad es apoyar el cambio y la mejora organizacional, gestionando también los conflictos que se produzcan. En la fase siguiente, se ofrecerán servicios al nivel de la comunidad y la unidad familiar. Este trabajo permitirá que tanto profesores como alumnos en la UG conozcan la disponibilidad de este nuevo recurso: El Servicio de Mediación “SMUG”. Esperamos que este trabajo también motive al diálogo, sugerencias y propuestas de colaboración a nivel individual y a nivel de nuevas redes.

    Here we present the initiative that is being carried out at the University of Guayaquil (UG) for the insertion of the Mediation Services (SMUG). Its purpose is to support organizational change and improvement, managing also the conflicts that arise. In the next phase, the SMUG will offer services at the community and family unit. This work will allow that both professors and students at the UG learn about the availability of this resource: Mediation Services “SMUG”. We hope that this work will also motivate dialog, suggestions, and collaborative proposals at the individual and new networks.
