    La coexistencia en la pedagogía cubana de dos propuestas de componentes del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje a partir de los trabajos realizados por Álvarez, C. exige criterios que ayuden a tomar partido al respecto. En este artículo se parte de un análisis crítico de su obra “La escuela en la vida” con el objetivo de profundizar en el componente objeto y su relación con el de problema, referidos a la educación. Extendiendo el análisis se logra generalizar una de las leyes enunciadas por dicho autor, al considerar la educación en sentido amplio y se arriba a una nueva. Ambas determinantes de las transformaciones del proceso educativo, la primera en su génesis y la segunda en su ejecución.

    The coexistence of two proposes in Cuban pedagogy about the components of the learning process, since the investigations done by Alvarez, C. were published, demands criteria that help to take part about it. We present the critical analysis of his book “The school in live” about the component object and its relationship with the component problem, related to the education, with the intention to determine if they are or not. In this analysis we achieve the generalization of one of the laws he declared by considering the education in the wide sense and also we arrive at a new one. Both determine the transformations of the education as a process, the first law in his genesis and the second in his improvement.
