    El presente trabajo está dirigido a destacar la importancia del estudio de aquellas figuras que desde el siglo XIX hasta la actualidad han contribuido al origen y desarrollo de la nacionalidad cubana y que se han convertido en figuras representativas del pensamiento educativo cubano. Finalmente se enfatiza en el estudio de la obra educativa de aquellos educadores del siglo XX que alcanzaron relevantes connotaciones en el ámbito local y nacional, en este caso se hará referencia a la profesora santaclareña Rosa María Ángulo Díaz- Canel.

    The present work is intented to highlight the importance of the study of those figures of the XIX century that contributed to the origin and development of Cuban nationality and they have converted in the educational thought's Cuban representative figures. Finally is distinguished the relevant work of those professor, from XX century, that had a great connotation in the national space, in this case its take in consideration the santaclareña: Rosa María Angulo Díaz Canel
