Resumen de El Macizo de Ardines: un espacio humanizado durante el Paleolítico Superior

  Presentamos una síntesis actualizada de la realidad arqueológica de los yacimientos paleolíticos “menores” del Macizo de Ardines. Estos, lejos a obedecer a esa calificación, nos proveen de un contexto adecuado para entender el contenido arqueológico de la cueva de Tito Bustillo. El análisis de esta realidad reafirma la continuidad del poblamiento local durante todo el Paleolítico Superior, y su fijación cultural a este espacio mediante la decoración de sus espacios subterráneos desde el principio del periodo.

  We present here an updated synthesis on the archaeological evidence found at the "minor" paleolithic sites located at the Ardines Massif. These sites, in fact far from being minor in themselves, provide us with an appropriate context to better understand the archaeological content of the Tito Bustillo cave. The analysis of this reality confirms the continuity of the local human settlement throughout the Upper Paleolithic in thi massif, and its cultural setting to this geographic area through the decoration of the underground spaces of Ardines since the beginnings of this period.
